Adding OEM HID to CX-7 Sport

I was wondering if anyone has attempted or could inform me on just how difficult it is to install OEM HID's on a non-HID equipped sport CX-7?

If I see any OEM sets from RX-8's, MS6's, MS3's would these work or wire up okay?

uhh... its not just about wiring and getting bulbs to cram in there
if you want OEM, you need to replace the entire headlights

Really??..

I have a hard time believing that the headlights are that much different than HID-equipped. The same can't be said for ANY other Mazda model..so why would it be for the CX-7?

why dont you just buy the DDM HID kit it only $70 and it works great

very. ive run ebay slim hids kits on plenty of cars and none have failed.

The DDM's are with lifetime warranty and if a bulb go wrong you just send the old one and they send you a new one.but the kit is verry reliable

The actual headlight assembly (internal components) is different between HID & Halogen CX7s. This is the case for ALL cars with both halogen & HID equipped models.

I can elaborate later if necessary.

I also noticed that they said the DDM kits are only 3400 lumens at 35watts. That's all i'd be running.. so they won't look very bright huh.

Nope they have all colors 4000k,4500k,5000k,6000k .................. try ddmtuning.com
