Active Driving Display and Seat Memory

In my first 1k miles no matter how many times I follow the owners manual steps my Active Driving Display settings are defaulting to factory pre programming the next day. The seat goes back to a previous setting I had set at the dealer. Until I drove more I realized I didn’t like my initial seat setting and have tried repeatedly to reprogram it, the next day the seat does not save the setting from the previous day and goes back to my initial programmed setting.

I suspect you're only setting the Seat/ADD using the buttons on the seat. You also need to set it on the keyfob.
You basically have 4 settings - two on the seat buttons, and two on the keyfobs.

So what you want to do is get the Seat/ADD where you want them, then set that on Seat button #1, AND then set that on Keyfob #1.
Then get the Seat/ADD set for driver #2 - set that on seat button #2 AND set that on keyfob #2.

This is very useful and makes a lot of sense, since I did only try with the seat buttons. I guess I was ready the instructions as within 5 seconds use the seat buttons or fob meaning either or. Anyhow I appreciate your description and I will give this a try and report back. Your instructions read better than the owners manual IMO.

If memory serves the salesman did incorporate the fob and mentioned the important points to successful programming. Unfortunately my energy and attention span by that time was expired and I was eager to drive the new wheels and get home.

UPDATE:
So far so good with fob programming thanks again Joebaba 👍. Your write up worked well explaining my way through it.
