AccessPORT & AccessTUNER Updates for MS3 and MS6

Got this from the access tuner guide concerning vehicle speed limiter for lc.
Tuning Tips Wheel spin will cause the reported Vehicle Speed to be higher than the actual vehicle
speed. This is due to the ECU detecting vehicle speed from the transmission. You may need to set this
value higher than anticipated as a means to combat this phenomenon.

so I'm wondering then would it be better to set this value higher. say 15-20. in first gear, regular accelerating, I hit at 16mph at 3000rpm, so would it be smart to have my lc set to 3200rpm and my vehical speed limiter to say 15

Without being there to see what is going on I have two theories. One, it's the tire breaking loose. Two it's the clutch breaking loose. If the engine just starts free-revving while you are in gear and the the clutch is engaged, something is not right.

no mechanically everything is working alright. nevermind. ill just keep playing with it. i think i rambled and didnt get my statemtn across well at all. thanks though.

You could set it higher but in the real world, the LC implemented here isn't as helpful as one would think. 250+ HP to the front wheels just ain't right so what helps more is the driver taming the wheelspin to some degree himself. I had my VSL set to 15 originally and there were a couple of instances where I wasn't even looking for a launch but took off with a bit more oomph than usual and got some wheelspin resulting in me hitting the LC rev limit before I got up to 15 MPH and it was kinda annoying to have power cut out briefly like that. Pay attention to what you set the VSL to though, there's an excel graph with all the gear ratios, RPM and speed charts over on MSF that should help you.
