AC Compressor not engaging.....help heat wave upon us

My 2007 CX7 AC stopped blowing cold air as of yesterday.....ugh ~ After a bit of trouble shooting I have determined that the compressor is not engaging, which led me to check ALL the fuses for the AC (2) one in the dash fuse box, one in the engine fuse box as well as the relay too. All is good with the fuses & RELAY from what I can tell....recently had the car in for service @ Mazda for the timing chain recall in which they replaced my timing chain. Wondering if perhaps the connection to the compressor itself has wiggled itself loose or something else is happening that I am just not hitting on...

ALL thoughts comments and opinions welcome......its getting REAL hot in these parts tomorrow :'(

you could also have a leak which wont allow the compressor to cycle.

i dont believe the compressor is touched when removing the timing cover as its mounted to the side of the block

havent heard about the timing chain recall but I am on my third AC compressor.

last time I took it b/c it was making a whining noise but still blowing cold (but not very well at 100F or more) and they determined my AC compressor is bad.
That was the #2.
now I still have that whining noise again on #3 but it blows cold even on 100F temps but takes at least 5-10 mins. this is at full blast at 64-65 but never on full auto b/c that never worked.
