Hi, I am new here having stumbled here from google.
I am usually found deep rooted in the Seat camp, having owned three Seat Leon's, the last one from new a Leon FR Tdi which I loved, but sold it for a number of reasons (to get rid of finance etc).
I am about to buy a 2007 Mazda 3 saloon 2.0 petrol sport model, which also has an lpg conversion so it's a nice mix of cheap commuting, and performance when I want it. Checked out the lpg conversion on the lpg national database and seems ok.
I found the car on ebay, from a car dealer in Bristol (I'm in Merseyside) and we agreed a deal subject to me checking the car out a driving it to see everything is as he says. I plan on getting my own HPI check (he says he has one anyway) and possibly also an AA car check before I travel for peace of mind, but at 142 not sure about that. He is offering a 3 month warranty which can be extended to 2 years for 250. He's giving it a fresh MOT for me on Monday and all going well I should collect it on Wednesday.
Is there anything I should be looking for on the test drive, common problems etc?
