About to buy, some quick questions

When I was looking for a P5 I test drove one with leather (leatheret?) and it was pretty crappy, but maybe the leather in the US is better? You sit in the seat and all I did was slide around on every corner. The cloth in mine is a lot better. Thats my thought about it.

The leather in the car according to the option is "leather wrapped upholstery". So I'm guessing it's the basic cloth seat with leather skin. Probably why some of you guys were sliding around. I'd definitely take the cloth w/the lower miles. Another thing to look for - did the 2003 you mentioned have a subwoofer? Check the spare tire...

Haha, so true! This car BEGS to be taken through twisties and sharp turns, I can't imagine where you'd end up with a leather seat. Hell, its hard enough staying put on a sharp turn with the cloth seats, leather would probably send you through the window. ;)

Hahahahahaha, hahahaha, haha, ha, haha............

Oh wait you're serious? Oh my bad.

A good general rule is girls/ladies don't generally give a damn about cars, and if they do, its almost always only about how the car looks. (I'm not talking about any female enthusiast drivers we have on this forum, just women in general).

I guarantee you my little P5 has gotten more looks and comments from women than, say, a civic modded all to hell with a huge wing, rattly, whiney exhaust, and an intake.

I mean, its fun to step on the gas and hear my MS exhaust rev in its deep, throaty way in front of a chick and think its impressing her or whatever, but I've found 95% of the time, they don't even notice. :p

Chicks just don't dig cars as much as the media makes it seem.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I will look around a little bit outside of TN, but going too far out of state isn't really an option for me so if I want a P5 ( which I do:) ) I may have to spend a little more, oh well, I'm gonna try and talk the dealership down but unfortunetly that's the one with 34k miles on it. Gonna go test drive and check them out tomorrow so will update. Thanks again!

too high, we bought our '03 NEW from the dealership last year(leftover), 03.5 model, auto w/ subwoofer for $14.8 drive out..........no miles......

fly and pick up that one, and drive it back.........more car same $

Dude, there are so many mp5 around here for sale in Cali. it's probably cheaper for you to fly over, buy the car, fly back, and ship the car to your state (or drive back if you prefer).
