About a grand to burn

Well, last week I got a new 2002, pure white p5 and have been wondering what to do with it. As of now I'm looking at spending my money on performance/appearance mods., but I'm also looking at spending my money at HPDEs with NASA. For the HPDEs I would have to first buy a helmet ($400ish) since I cannot use my current motorcycle helmets for the car. Willow Springs in November looks fun.

I would like to keep the budget under about $1,000ish for now, and I do not want to void the warranty. So, what would you do? Go for the racing, or go for the mods.? If for the mods., what would best for about $1K?

Cold Air Intake
Cat Back Exhaust
Short Shifter
Adjustable Coil Overs
Lightweight Wheels/Tires
Carbon Fiber Hood/Lightweight stuff. I know someone makes a lightweight dash and front end.

Thats what im going for, I have the Injen cold air intake, and the kartboy ss. Looking at a thermal or bosal catback.
