A trade!

I was going to use the stock HU for my system install but it really bugs me that you can't hold down the next track button to fast foward a particular part of a song.

I hate that ejecting one cd and inserting another in the same spot is like a 4 step process for the changer. . .:wtf:

. . .you have to wait for it to position and eject the cd, then as soon as its out it goes back to its previous position. then you have to press the load button and wait for it to come back before you can put the cd in. . .

. . .but it sure beats getting out of the car and walking to the trunk, ejecting a magazine, and replacing cds manually :)

Hey 1st, I ran the stock P5 deck to my system for over a year, straight into my PPI amps. The SQ out of the deck when it isn't taxed into powering the speakers is actually very good. I think this will be a great system, and I've been a fan of Audio Control for years as well.

ZoomZoom, i hear you talking about the DIY'ers. Sure brings back memories. I used to tell people "I charge $60/hour to do the install, $90/hour to show YOU how to install, and $120/hour if you screw it up and I have to go back and re-do it!"

Haha, that is so funny, I really didn't want to say that I charged people more for messing things up, but I do, lol. The cost of installation is X, the cost of installation if you screw it up and bring it back is 1.5X or more. I look at it this way, when they screw it up, it is usually bad, so it takes longer to do....well time is money. Damn, too bad I cannot get paid for being on the internet, I'd be RICH!!!

peace

You have to charge more when they screw it up as you will always have to take time to trouble shoot the situatin becuse the only way they come back is if they killed something.

You can get paid for being on the internet...well sorta...

...my friend showed me this site...it started out kinda as a psychic network but now you can get all kinds of advice on just about everything. Computer tech support is a big one as well as finacial opinions n stuff. People get your info and place a call to the site's 900 number and they forward the call to you...they take a cut and you make some money sitting at your computer.
