A deer ran into the side of my car

and it sucks.

I was going ~38 mph (speedo said 40 but I'm on the 16's) in a 35, a deer came zinging out. I saw it out of the corner of my eye and swerved to avoid it. It hit the right rear fender, leaving a baseball sized dent. I ******* hate deer. I honestly want to start deer hunting now.

Anyone know if they can do paintless dent repair on the fender? There isn't any paint missing. The ******'s head hit it and it fell on it's ass. I looked in my rear view and it was flopping around on its back, then it got up and ran away.

That sucks! The same thing happened to my friend in his Camaro last week...but it f'd his car up a lot more. Couple grand in damage...you're lucky it's not worse.

Yeah, I'm definitely lucky. If it had run out in front of me instead of into the side of me, then I'd be ******. I wasn't speeding, but my dad doesn't believe me and thinks I was, so I'm mad at him and he's mad at me. If I had been speeding, the damage obviously would have been a ton worse. I'll post up some pics tomorrow; I took a few tonight but the camera is in my car.

Golfball? You got off easy. My bro hit a deer and got 5K in damages. The deer ended up worse though. YUCK.

Oops, meant to type baseball.

And yeah, that deer is lucky he ran the **** away. It'd almost be worth the damage to my rear bumped to put it into reverse...

Anyway, anyone know if you can PDR the fender?

tell your dad this, if you weren't speeding you would have been hit head on by the beast.

Damn Brian that sucks! I hate deer too, I wish all the hunters would just kill im all. (deer) (gun)

Elemental, you think it can be PDR'd?

Yeah rich, I hate the things. It hit my on West Creek Parkway, if you know where that is. I was just driving around, too, not going anyway. I was going Robious->288->West Creek->Patterson->Parham->Huguenot->Home. :(

Bummer, Brian. Sorry to hear that. On the other hand, if that's all the damage your car took from a deer hit, you're actually quite lucky.

Tell your Dad that if you'd been speeding, you'd not have been there when the deer crossed, and your car would be fine. It did hit near the back of the car. Had you been going slower, it could have come through the windsheild and killed you. This is why I always drive very, very fast! ;)

Hehe yeah, I definitely got lucky. I'm just hoping that paintless dent repair can fix it. Anyone have any opinions on the matter?
