i have a protege had 2 alternator and one broke the othere keep melting belts off so i made new brakets up and put a 160amp chevy alt on but i didint use the stock alternator wiring besause i know the ecu runs the stock system know i have check engine light on with p1794 is the anyway i can remove the code for good or trick the ecu to thinking the alternator ""working""
