96 MPV oil leaks

Looking into getting a 96 and it has a couple of oil leaks. One on the tranny and one on the engine. Is this year known to have seal leaks or brakes? Are these leaks common on this car?

not sure about that year ,but i have a 93 mpv 4wd and that is leaking out oil as well.

I ran about 15 quarts of oil through it in a month but since i added the stuff you can get to recondition o rings and gaskets it has for the most part stopped leaking oil but it is extremely hard on gas I might be getting about 13 mpg average but my fuel gauge is messed up so I could be wrong about that
