95blkprobe's 02 p5 build

Lets try this again:

Machine shop has finished the crank and checking the block. I will be going back home thursday to reassemble the motor and get it all back together and running so it can make its 150 mile trip back to tally with me.

Took ten hours including a food break and parts run to rebuild the motor and to have it running. Completed 30 miles with excellent oil pressure. Found teflon stuck in the end of the electronic gauge so that's why it wasn't reading properly

I have about 200 miles to drive tomorrow so we will see how it goes. Thanks for all your support guys

280 miles on the engine. Loving the excellent oil pressure. Need to install a radio though. Tired of jamming out to pandora from my droids speaker

Changed the oil again today and rotated the tires. Trying to decide on what I want to do for wheels. Im thinking fds but gotta find a set. I will soon be installing my kmr braces and kyb gr2s with tein h-techs. Summer classes stat on monday so I will be focusing on school and after these next six weeks, the holset goes in

tightened a leaky oil line, and tightened my throttle body bolts that were half backed out, probably from my stiff ass motor mounts.

Also installed my p5 fogs and recieved my perrin fuel rail :D

almost 500 mile son the built motor now, will be doing an oil change and wash on thursday, maybe take some pics once its sort of clean

Found out my prv return line is still leaking so ill have to fix that soon. I finally received my radio harness so now I installed my radio and lights for my gauges. Will upload some pics of the car later

fixed my prv oil return line and began installation of my kyb with tein h-techs and one of the front tie rod ends stripped out so im going to have to cut it off the stock strut and put a new one on the kyb. also rolled over to 1000 on the engine after driving it hard for a 4 hour round trip. i will be doing another oil change this weekend.

empty spot in pod is for the wideband once i install the baby turbo

Man, I wish my car was running. I'm glad yours is going so well. After all the problems, would you still say it's worth it?

hell yea!!! this car is a blast to drive just being n/a, i wont ever get out of it once i put the holset in there. the lsd makes the car feel amazing, understeer is a thing of the past, when it begins to understeer, i just romp on it and it pulls you through the corner.

just did my 1,000 mile oil change and attempted to remove endlinks to install my kyb/tein h-tech combo. only finished one side.
