I've been trying to start my RX7 and it wont turn over, i changed the fuel filter and still nothing. if someone knows what i can do or if you know of any repair shops in southern california please let me know....

same thing happened to my rx7, got in one day and it wouldn't turn over and i knew everything was working

it was carbon lock from carbon which had built in the engine over the years

Whooa! Before you go dumping ATF in your spark plug holes and hoping for the best, a little more information might be helpful.
First of all, what do you mean by "it won't turn over"? Does that mean you turn the key and absolutely nothing happens? Does the starter engage and it cranks but won't start? Have you checked for spark? For Fuel? Compression? Any mods? The more info, the better.

One of the better known shops in California.

pull main fuse for injectors, crank for 7 secs, then put fuse back. if that doesnt work, ATX time.

Yeah, don't even bother with testing the battery, for free, at any auto parts store. Just change it out. While your at it, be sure to install new radiator gears and muffler bearings. That could be it too.
Shoot.....this internet mechanical diagnosis stuff is easy. :)

First of all, rotaries dont like to sit around allot.

Check all of your sensors and fuses, and make sure they are all good and plugged in.

Your car is not starting, so i doubt that you have a broken APEX seal. Usually if your car has a broken APEX seal it will still run. My guess would be a problem with ignition or injection.

Check your spark plugs, and make sure there are no carbon deposits on them. While they are out, pull out your EGI Relay (in your engine bay, next to your battery. Its a yellow box that looks like a big fuse) turn the car over and smell inside (or near) the housing to see if you smell fuel. If you have both of those things (spark and ignition) then it could be an ECU problem. Sometimes (very rarely) a wire can come loose going to your ECU. If you have an aftermarket ECU, you can easily check if it is getting power. This is a minor problem that the FD's had.

Test those things, and get back to me :D
