What type of transmission do you have?
Manual Transmission
I emailed my local Mazda Dealership about the 90,000 mi service and listed below is what they suggested:
* Change oil & filter; check all fluids, lights, belts & hoses
* Check coolant condition & protection
* Rotate and balance tires
* Inspect tire condition & set tire pressures to spec.
* Inspect brakes
* Lube hinges & locks
* Check all front end and steering components including ball joints & sway bar
* Inspect drive shaft CV boots
* Perform physical inspection of all brake lines, hoses & connections
* Replace cabin air filter
* Replace air filter
* Perform BG battery service
* Perform BG K24 fuel induction service
* Change transmission fluid (drain & fill)
* Perform BG power steering fluid flush
$589.45
^-- Is it me or does all that seem a bit pricey? I've already had most of the things listed like the coolant and the power steering fluid flushed and changed last year so I probably don't need to do it again for a while. Right?
Also, what is the BG K24 fuel induction service? Alone this costs $165. Is it worth it?
I appreciate any and all help. Thanks!
