With the amount of abuse a turbo puts on oil as well as direct injection being hard on oil, I'm switching to PP and doing my own oil changes every 3000 miles. No dealer will be performing oil changes on this MS3.
 
I was going more by how thin it had become, not the color. It also smelled of gas.

I've never smelled oil that came out of any car I've had that didn't smell like gas. Maybe it's just me, but I think all oil smells like gas, whether it's been in the car for 2,000 miles or 5,000 miles.

i agree...fuel is naturally going to find it's way past the piston rings into the oil no matter how tight the clearances. but there is a difference between detecting gas smell in your oil and your oil being drenched with gas
