55w DDM HIDs

These look like the best bang for the buck out there. Any others I should be looking at. Also, will the stock housings handle the additional heat generated by the 55w units, or should I go with the 35w?

I'd say go 35w, they are still very bright

_IF_ and I stress _IF_ you spend serious lengths of time in high beam operation, 55 watt HIDs work like DAYTIME. But you have to give them time to stabilize, no more flashing/passing lamp action.

I spend a lot of time on back roads dodging furry critters without oncoming traffic, so that is what I did. The 55s get WAY down the road.
