$4700 monthly income

I make that much in a month. Thats how I afford all my toys. I currently am living at home still. I'll be married in a year and a half and am saving for the wedding and honeymoon. Once I buy my house and I get married I'll still have plenty of moolah for my hobby. I'm even looking into buying a 2000-01 excursion diesel and a newer 24-28 ft enclosed trailer for my racecar. If you make that kinda of money per month and your behind on bills and you have too much credit card debt there's something wrong. Stop trying to live above your means. Between me and my fiancee we combined make around 85k a year.

if you made anywhere from 4700-5000 a month, what kind of car would u be able to afford and would you be stuck and behind on bills!!!! What would u do with the money??

I make slightly more and if i were u i would not waste your money on a car put it into something that will make you more money.

Do you think 4700-5000 a month is making good money? I mean i see people driving around in BMW's, Cadillac's."They don't even make over $3000 a month!!!! I guess it all depends if you play your cards right!

it also depend in if you own things or jsu pay to use them.
I see people in debts that drive jaguars and mercedes and people that have plenty of many that drive around a 150000 miles maxima.

It depends on your priority. Also if you invest in an house you might have to wait for a nica and vice versa.

That said. I havo no clue about how much it is 5000 a month since I am not from here i do not work (cabpatch)
I am a poor student

"living at home" is how you afford all those toys
unless you pay your parents 1200 in rent, 250 for utilities, and rent for the 4 car garage you must have(lol)

more power to you- i wish my wife and i were living at home right now!

I make 5200 a month at my job, and live in California. I live in a 1400 sqare foot duplex, own my P5 and a WRX, and I have (what I consider) little spare money, between those and all my other bills. The biggest reason behind this, though, is that it cost a ******* FORTUNE to move accross country, even with a signing bonus of 10%. Crazy. =P

Just remember, always live within your means.

Wait till you buy your house and have to pay mortgage payments, Utility bills, Car-payment's, credit card payment's..etccc!! to tell you the truth making $35hour down here is like making 10-11bucks an hour, the cost of living is what is killing the most. by no means it compare's to L.A or Diego, Frisco "but still it's not that far behind to support yourself here than it is there.

you sound pretty young, so if you are making that kind of $$ now, SAVE SAVE SAVE!!

be thrifty and live like you're broke now, that way you can enjoy it later on...

NO!!! I retired from the Military in 96 being so poor i went straight to Corrections and making most of the money there, i get 2/incomes a month (retirement money from the NAVY and my income from Correction's That's what i take home with both income's! i make over 6000+ a month with both income's.

Apparently you spend money as extravegantly as you use exclaimation points.

Anyway, yeah you should be saving a GOOD chunk of change if you're making that much every month. The reason you see so many people ballin' in Escalades and Maximas and the like is because most people are stupid and can't manage money at all. Rule of thumb #1 - if it's a nice car, the bank probably owns it.

If I was pulling down $ 5-grand a month, I would be driving a new 2006 Chrysler Town & Country V-6 with traction, Stow 'n Go seats, Three-Zone Temperature Control, Rear Seat DVD Entertainment System, Navigation, and power sliding side doors. Spacious and stylish. Rest of the money would either go to the casino or up my nose.

Ghost makes several grand a month by himself, we pay $1000 each on our house in NC and a condo here in FL and he still has spare money to help with my MSP mods and he just bought his supercharger for his RSX last month. I hate him. lol

just buy a regular car and drive it into the ground. Save the extra loot to pay it off in a year and you're good to go.

Yeah no kidding. Our condo is a 2 bedroom in Stuart . Not even in a major city and you cant find anything less than $1000 a month around here. And the prices of apartments alone start at $1000 for a one bedroom just about.

im in pembroke pines, in broward county right between miami and palm beach. very good city with middle class (lower on the east and upper on the west). 2 bedroom condo CONVERSIONS are $225k+.

There's a new development of condos nearby in Jensen Beach that start at $175,000 for a one bedroom and thats not even including the condo assoc. fees that are about $200 a month! Its sad that the majority of florida is turning out to be like living in Manhattan.
