40th anniversary wheels

What manufacturer makes these wheels? I can't seem to find anyone who sells a similar wheel, nor can i find a set for sale anywhere.

made for rx8 only, I think if u want them u have to find someone that traded for custom wheels. I love the way mine look.

The 09 RX-8 has the same style wheel as standard 18" for sport models. The R3 package has 19" versions.

The series-II (08-??) RX-8 gets the same wheels as the Series-I 40th-Ann version. Just find a Series-II owner who wants to sell his wheels

FYI, we don't use the terminology "series" in the US. It's the 2009 RX-8 with rotary styled wheels and the 40th-Anniversary Edition. The five spoke is the standard 18 inch wheel for all 2004-2008 RX-8s except the base model.

Yeah, here in Oz, we laugh or stratch our heads at the USA wank factor calling an 08-model car an "09-model". Or all the 03-model RX-8's getting called an 04-model.

Anyway, the "Series-II" hit the streets of Japan in FEB-08 if memory serves me & to those outside the USA, if was built in 08 then its an 08-model. Thankfully the world doesn't revolve around the USA so for the rest of the planet an 08-model car is called an 08-model........

Plus, Americans are catching onto the "Series" naming as they are well versed with this for the RX-7 (check RX-7 forums to see) as I see them using it as common language for the "Series-4" (86-88) & "Series-5" (89-91). However, the "Series-6" (92-95) is still refered to as a 93-model (wank factor again) so its not yet formalised. The "Series" terminology started in the UK, branched to Oz spread to NZ & due to its simple practicality is slowly spreading further & further.

I know its what you are accustommed to but as the world gets smaller & smaller, the USA way of thinking should eventually accept reality (ie, 08 model called an 08-model) & fall into line with the rest us, albiet dragged kicking & screaming all the way..........lol.
