so..a few days after its been on the road..How many miles you have piled on now? Where is your boost running?

Ive got close to 300miles on it and myy boost is set at around .7bar, and so far the car is doing great beside a little rattle noise from the ion exhaust.Car has no cold starting issues and it idles like stock. cant wait till Nick can really tune the car.

To make 400whp you need lots of fuel. Did not want any idle, cold start or poor lowend driving. So we installed a second fuel rail to hold four 39lbs injectors.

Awesome, I'm jealous.

I've read that that rattle from the ION is in the rear of the car off the heatshield... I'm sure if you do a search for rattle and exhaust you'll find it. I believe that most just bend the shielf up a bit.

Make sure it's not touching the car near the gas tank. That's where I had myproblems.

Boots shouldn't be hard to source for the wires...some stock boots would probably work fine if you ran the wire through it.

What plugs are you guys running with that amp?

What gap?

Is it compatible with any EMS?

Here we go with that again... Glad to hear you are happy! So am I! Have fun, and go forth and boost!

Congrats on the new setup..I was at the shop when nick was working on your ride..

Keep us uptodate on when you finish break in period!

Well ive got a little over 600miles on the new motor im hopeing to give the car back to nick the end of next week to do a tuneup, and retighten anything once theres a 1000miles on it , but if all is good then i will set up a date to hit the dyno so shortly we should have some numbers..but this ion exhaust has got to go its killing me it makes my car sound like its falling apart(it doesnt fit properly)
Thanks,

600 miles? thats it? man, Id have like 1000 miles a week after the install. get a goin man.

Its hard i go to school 3times a week its like 30 miles round trip and i work 48hrs a week and my job is only 1.5miles away, plus i dont drive in the rain / snow. dont worry id rather take my time than rush putting it on the dyno with low miles..

Between work and school - it really sounds like you are doing the smart thing. Don't go nuts - or else you won't have any spare time.

Have you gone into boost at all? I remember what it was like driving and staying out of boost - not really hard to do, just shows you how much you can baby a car if you want to.
