3s Hatchback Production

I'm in California, looking for a 3s Touring Hatch in Red, black interior, manual transmission. It's a pretty unusual combination, and there don't currently seem to be any in the Bay Area.

What does 3s production look like? The dealer is telling me no new production in that configuration for months, and is steering me towards other colors/configurations. Maybe true, maybe he's saying that to close a sale. What's the real scoop?

I am in bay area also.
All s models are made in Japan. i models are now made in Mexico.
Most s models are auto-trans. It is hard to find a manual one.
If you are willing to wait, you can order it, the way exactly you want. It might take a few weeks to months.
