After fighting with this little thing...I finally got it to work, i clamped it at about 3.5v and spinning the tires all the way till 4th lol......but i seem to have a problem it happens sometimes at 4krpm in 3rd and 4th the cars seems to sputer and loose power like its holding back is this clutch slippage, or is my bov leaking....;

my guess LACK OF FUEL ! could be a boost leak though

What boost you running 18 ?

around 17-18 psi but im not hitting fuel cut or anything it just like sputters and den goes back, can it be fixed by doing what driver said with the coils???

Have you logged your FP at all?

Go for it shouldnt take that long! if it works make sure to go over to his thread and post your findings.

That is very true Dada, but most of us have mechanical boost gauges. Perhaps he does as well. But we were looking for the fuel pressure readings and his AFR to make sure he is safe.

will the dashawk datalog the fp?

hell yeah ! i have tons of Fp runs

3-4 pull.webp

Well looking at my DashHawk datasheet, it seems to start as my AFR's go down. Looking at it, the HIFP starts at around 2000psi then drops steadly to about 900ish PSI. At the bottom of the drop is where I get the sputter. This happens at peak RPM's usually around 5k ish or a little higher. My boost will be hitting 20PSI or so, dip too 16PSI or so and go back up to 20PSI and repeat till I let off the gas. This is not boost cut as it feels more like a Miss then a suddon drop of power. Before I got the BCD I hit Boost Cut and it was a lot more violent.

I'm assuming that I'm running out of Fuel, but not positive.

Yep fuel cut! It seems this car doesent boost cut just the onset of FC makes the ECU kill boost(hmm i guess thats BC too lol,but its directly related to the FC ). It seems that though hard to get a hold of, the few members with a the new CDFP have cured that, and there boost holds to redline and plenty of fuel :)

Driver i believe had sputter even with the CDFP thats how he found the coil stretch mod!

Try the coil stretch and see what happends its free :)

Yah already did the stretch :)

The biggest issue I had was my Intake Clamp was lose on the turbo. After I fixed that my car pulls like never before, but I still get a little stutter at the top of 4th. I guess a FP is on my list.
