Good question!!!!

So these are nice looking and all, but what differentiates them from the current AWR endlinks?

And the clunk isn't associated with the endlinks, it is the location of the swaybar, which is remedied/reduced with the relocation bracket you already are running right?

I guess anodize it and it will sell...

There are 2 types of clunk. The one associated to the swaybar which you mentioned (which is entirely remedied with the AXR brackets), and then the endlinks...and trust me they CLUNK. Stock ones don't, but stock ones suck as well so...

these have the same heim joint set up as the awr endlinks, which is the cause of the clunk. neither of them will clunk if properly tightened...
plus i have another issue with the agency power links - the awr has the joint on the strut tab, with very little space for the bolt to be almost free standing - the agency power have that spacer keeping the joint from the strut body which puts a ton of stress on the bolt, basically it takes the brute force of the suspension travel. you're trusting 2 bolts to stand up to very close to a g to over a g (realistically some of us can, easily). i dont like that

Not trying to bash the endlinks here, because they are very pretty...

...but if you were to just put a small bushing, similar to one you can find at autozone for end links by energy suspension in between the strut tab and the endlink itself, it fixes it rather well, and puts less stress on the bolt that the metal spacer may cause.

EDIT: See picture.

I wish I could get some that actually last...Haven't found anything like that up here. I used some cheapies for my custom endlinks in the back and they lasted about a week. Granted it was soft rubber, but I used what I had...

OMG...rust much...

Thank god for the NO SALT policy here in the NW>.....(headbang)

Not true.

The qulity of a heim joint can vary greatly, but this is totally different than AWR's racing only joint, it is a streetable teflon lined joint.

No such luck with AWR, and theirs was already clunking within a few days of installing then, and it had NOTHING to do with them being loose.

If it works and has held up on Evo 8/9s for years, I don't see why it wouldnt in our application.

Cheers!!

Correct, I eliminated the 1st clunk with AXRs relo bracket. And no, these ones so far do not clunk. If you held them, you would see the immense difference between these and AWRs. I have had both and hated the AWRs, I think I ended up giving them away.

See 1st post for update.

Good stuff on the latest update. Any chance of there being an introductory price? If not, is the price of the ones you linked to in the 1st post a pretty good indication of the final price?

Yes, I believe the pricing will be the same as the Evo endlinks (since they are the same).

I spoke again in person with the brand manager yesterday about the progress, and he wants to wait (to get some miles on my car) before pushing them out just yet. I will be delivering installed pictures to him today, so that he can create a different part number abd sell these (as designated for the BJ mazda line) on their website.

He also said the fronts may come soon, as well. making progress!!...

Would the rears be the exact same (sizing and all?) as those evo ones?

As for the fronts, would the design be any different? I personally need the same length in the front as in the rear so I could be golden unless the design needs to be tweaked for our cars.

CulRidr,
Yes, they are the same part.

They are making them off of OEM length. So what length do you need for the front? OEM Front or OEM Rear? If you need OEM rear at all four corners, then you should be all set!

Well, I need MSP length (roughly; I'm dropped with Bspec springs) in the rear, and a VERY similar length in the front (I'll need to measure the centre-to-centre length of my front endlinks, as I'm running the Aspec struts/Bspec springs at all 4 corners); which are roughly the same length as a 99 sedan, which are coincidentally virtually the same length as rear MSP endlinks.

i have 4 awr endlinks and not one clunk. ive had awr's for years with little clunking
