Big points ie expensive ones.
#1 make sure the crankshaft pulley spins straight when running. If it is not straight you will need to replace the crankshaft at the worst.
#2 Ask if the distributor has ever been rebuilt. If it has not pull the cap, rotor, and shield and look for signs of aluminum flakes. If you see them if means the weights in the distributor need to be replaced. If not addressed if will saw the distributor in half.
#3 grab the driveshaft where it comes out of the transmission and goes to the rear diff. It if is loose you could be possible looking at a transmission rebuild. The nut for the flage is under the end of the driveshaft and would have to be tightened before driving.
#4 Turn the car in really tight circles left and right. If you feel any binding or hear popping the planetary unit in the transmission is going to need repair/replacement.
#5 look at the brakes. If the rotors have a lip you can plan on brakes. To do a brake job it required the hubs to be pressed apart. The rotors bolt to the back of the hubs. This usually means you are doing wheel bearings and seals.
If in good shape or maintained they are great cars
