Mazda 3S 5 door
I am coming up on 30K on my '04 2.3L 3. What do you guys recommend I do along the lines of preventative maintenance? I think the book recommends changing the plugs, then the normal oil, door hinges, blah blah blah. Is there anything else I should do. If I need to change plugs are there a good set of performance plugs/wires? Thanks in advance

The book definitely does not recommend changing the plugs at 30k. I think it's more like 60k or 100k.

I just passed 30k on mine and I didn't see anything in the maintenance schedule that I needed to pay the stealership $400 to do.

edit: just chcked. maintenence schedule is 75k for plugs.
edit2: you don't have plug wires.

Most mechanics will reccomend changing out your brake/clutch, power steering fluid and fuel injector cleaning between 30 & 45k. I think that is on the conservative side, but if you really want to keep your car in top condition, I believe that is what is reccomended.
