2nd gear grinds, why?

sometimes when im driving normally in everyday traffic, ill be shifting into 2nd gear and i can hear/feel it grind. it doesnt happen often but its been more then a few times now. i also felt it grind once going into 5th. it surprises me because the clutch is all the way engaged every time i shift. is the clutch slipping? synchros messed up? something about tranny fluid? im lost.

2nd is tricky in these cars, but sounds like it's more than just that....go to the dealer.

Mine did the same thing. The Kartboy shofter bushing eliminated the issue. It also eliminated the almost all the 'under hard shifting' grinding/missed shifts. Then I added the AWR engine mounts front and rear and the problem is completely gone.

already have the kartboy short shifter and bushings. maybe it wasnt installed well or something? i cant recall it happening before the installation now that i think about it.
