Mine came today but I was out of town! Ill have to wait until tomm. Now all Im waiting on now is my new motor!!! Which should be delivered later in the week. So in no more than two weeks I should be rockin. Thanks for the fast delivery DSM.

Mine came today, but I just noticed...Guess I was sleeping when DHL showed up and they just left it on the porch. I'm on my way to work so I didn't get a chance to really look at it. One question...Is the serial port inside the unit? I didn't want to open it up unless I had to.

The serial port is on the inside, you just take a couple screws to get the top off, don't worry you can't damage anything, it's all covered in some kind of protective epoxy stuff.

you need a serial port with 1 side being male connector and 1 side with female connector.

I went to best buy and picked up a serial to usb converter for $30, which come with a cable that is long enough if you are sitting in the seat, but not to set on the seat while driving, so I then bought a 6ft usb extension for $20, so I can set it on the seat and record on the fly while I'm by myself

What do I use to extend the AFC vaccuum line to the intake manifold line? I was planning on mounting this in my glovebox.

Just get some more vacuum line (1/8" ID is about right), a tee fitting, and another straight fitting(a coupling i guess you would call it). Then T off of any of your existing vacuum lines, except for the VICS/VTCS ones, those will not give the correct reading becuase there is a check valve in that part of the manifold. If you decide to T off of the brake booster line(1/2" ID maybe?), you also have to watch out for a check valve which is actually in the tube about 6-12" from the right end of the tube, as a barely noticable lump if you take the insulating off from around it.
i found some nice silicone vacuum line for pretty cheap from boostcontroller.com get the smallest size 4mm i think, it is the closest to the stock vacuum line size. Also, zip ties make handy hose clamps.
