24 month service

Is the 24 month service at dealership worth the high price they charge? My cx5 is due for second annual service. Do they actually tighten the bolts and joints in the car as the manual says? Is it something my local service person can do? Appreciate your opinions

My personal feeling is that any interested and mechanical minded person can do the service. There is some value in having the dealer do the service because of warrantee, down the road. However; I prefer to do it myself or have a good independent shop do this service. Ed

The 24 service may include stuff you can easily do yourself like changing cabin filter. Just do the oil change and tire rotation. I bypassed the 24-month service.
