I had the (exact) same problem on my 2020. 2 flashes, then one, than a long pause before repeating. It started, coincidentally (?) on the WAY HOME from a dealer-provided oil change. It went out after I stopped at a store for a bit, but I texted the service advisor anyway. Of course, he said to see if it comes back on and, if so, bring it in at that time. I wanted to make a record of it as my warranty was expiring in another 11 days. This was in May 2023, at 31k miles.
The light did not return until August 2023. The dealer fixed it for free at that time, noting "engine default 1537." "B0011" was also shown on my receipt. Explanation was "Passenger side high resistance. Disconnected and cleaned all connections. Cleared codes."
I was good until June 2024 at 44k miles. When the light returned, I went to the same dealership, and they showed code B0011:13, failure type, circuit open, status - 08, not current DTC, whatever that means. Again, passenger circuit. 1499 C was also on the receipt below that line. The tech removed and cleaned the connector and rechecked the resistance as OK and I was sent on my way, no charge.
The tech also mentioned that if it happened again, they would have to dig deeper.
It came back on in August, 2024, but I was unable to get it to a dealership until September, this time in a different state. 48k miles. Same code: "B0011:13 stage 2 pass airbag deployment circuit open" was stored. Stage 2 connector had 10 ohms resistance, Stage 1 had 2 ohms. Tech noted that the resistance at Stage 2 connector would drop to 2 ohms when he moved around the connectors and short cord harness. The dealership ordered for me, and replaced a few days later, the passenger side front airbag inflator and the short cord harness. No charge, shown as a Warranty Pay!
Parts replaced: KD3367SH1A - cord, short 1; and KB7W57K50D - Module, air bag passenger 1
I am now at 51k miles and have had no further issues. Hope that helps.
I don't believe the airbags are warranteed for any longer than the overall b2b 3 years, though.
