2018 CX-9 Firmware and Apple CarPlay upgrade questions

I just bought a 2018 CX-9. I'm looking at upgrading to at Car Play. I have already bought the Retro Fit Kit. I'm wondering about my firmware (70.00.335 NA N). It seems to be the minimum level for CarPlay (please verify). Is there any benefit to trying to find the new firmware and upgrade?

Thanks

I'm a new member with a 2018 CX9 with original firmware 59.00.540 and wanting to upgrade firmware as well as adding wireless AA. I think i've figured out the route. The 1st thing we need to do is to upgrade to the latest firmware for australian version (4A N (ADR) 74.00.324A). I think thats the final version for all regions.

After firmware upgrade, we can safely use the retrofit kit (mazda oem or aftermarket) to get wired AA & AC. Then we can buy an adapter to make it wireless ie. Carlinkit 5 2air from Aliexpress. Based on my research, that would work out pretty well.
