The article stated that "The campaign will cover 36,761 CX-5s sold in the U.S. and U.S. territories." I wonder why so low a number? Calendar 2016 sales of CX-5s in the US were 112,000.

I believe only the Grand Touring model had LED daytime running lights. The Touring model was most likely their top seller.

For 2916 CX-5 only Grand Touring with optional Technology Package came with LED headlights and DRLs.

That’s right, you had to have the Tech package on the GT. Standard GTs didn’t have it

Actually 2016 CX-5 Touring could have LED DRLs、headlights、fog lights、brake and tail lights with Touring Technonoly Package too.

So far we haven’t seen any complaints. The gasket problem must have been resolved during 2016.5 model year on CX-5.

I think so because we have never had a problem with ours.
