Anyone heard of a problem like this... Driving to work on the freeway this morning and all of the sudden car starts vibrating and I get a tpms light, a scbs inspection message, check engine light, and the light that shows loose traction. I get off the freeway and the idle is very rough but when I start to accelerate it gets smooth but the transmission is not shifting properly and I can't get up to speed. At this point I gave up and am waiting for a tow back to the dealership, car is well maintained and have plenty of gas, clean air filter.

That's "safe mode" when a big fault occurs. It happened to me once and it was supposedly caused by a loose battery terminal. Usually unless you have a pressing issue, the car will reset after you restart it.

Tried restarting a couple times and let it sit for like 30 minutes but still not working properly.

I am going with safe mode too. I had a Durango that had a major battery break down and it went into safe mode. The car lit up like a christmas tree but I was able to hobble back to the dealer. After a new battery was installed, it was fine. I bet it is the battery but lets us know what happens.

Service tech thinks it's a bad sensor somewhere, I'll find out from them later.

Got off the phone with the service tech and he said it was a bad ignition coil that I guess sent the car into a safe mode, they replaced it under warranty and said it's all ready to go.

As does the CX-5. So Ikon's car had a bad coil on one cylinder which prompted it into safe mode.

Yup exactly, the service report said I had a failure on #4 ignition coil and it was misfiring.
