2014 CX-5 Lower control arm grease

Did you/they check the nuts on top of the shock towers (under the hood). There have been posts from folks finding they're loose.

Exactly the same problem. CX-5 2014.5. Following this. I'll let you know if I find anything. I hate the clunking noise. Two different mechanics say it's fine.
Update - took it to my mechanic who also confirmed all the suspension parts were replaced with aftermarket parts and they all appear new or new-ish..

Yep, 2015 Mazda 6 here. Mechanic has recently checked my front suspension again and said they found nothing but some worn sway bar bushings and control arm bushing - said its not worth the effort.

350k km, entire front suspension has been rebuilt, the rear needed new end links and upper strut mounts recently. Never needed an alignment once, all of my tires wear perfectly evenly. Unless you have obvious drivability issues or uneven wear on the tires i would not waste my time worrying about it. I have been hearing clunking from my front suspension for years. The front sway bar bushings are a tremendous effort to get to with the front subframe needing to be dropped.

That sounds consistent with what my mechanic told me three weeks ago. But the noise persist, especially when it gets warmer out... which may be just a proverbial red herring on my part. I will check tire inflation just to make sure that things are proper and balanced I'm definitely gonna monitor this thread. Very grateful for your reply in any additional insights you have. Thank you so much.

If both mechanics verify that there is nothing loose - (ball joints, end links, strut mounts, tie rod etc.) Then I assume that only worn bushings are causing play and clunk - In that case, my suggestion is not to worry about it.

If it's something relatively simple to replace, like a bushing in a control arm, that should give you some peace of mind. If it's the sway bar bushings, you're best off just forgetting about it, unless you think it's worth 5 hour labor to get to them. that's what 3 different mechanics quoted me.
