Hey,
I have seen a couple posts about a clunking noise that seems to come from the rear and I was wondering if anyone got a definitive answer as to what it was.
A couple months ago, my 2014 Cx-5 GT started making a clunking noise that sounds a little like cans being dragged from the rear. It was intermittent, and seemed to happen mostly when making right turns but then would clunk for a few seconds but seems to stop when it straightens up.
I brought it to Mazda, they said they only heard it once and couldn't replicate it but "checked everything" and everything seemed fine. They told me to bring it in on a day when I could leave it all day, which I did, and still nothing.
Fast forward two months, and now it seems to happen alot more frequently. I now hear it on right turns, left turns, and other times. I can't believe that they wouldn't know what this is. Should I take it to another Mazda Dealer?
