2014 6GT Tom-Tom volume goes up and down at random

I tried to reset it several times but it did not help. Sometimes it blows my ears and other times you can't hear the directions over the sound of the music.

It seems like the Nav Volume Control on the bottom center of the screen is independent from the volume on the knob/Steering Wheel. You can have the Volume Control on the bottom center of the screen set to 100 and then you can turn it down with the knob/Steering Wheel control (meanwhile the Volume Control on the bottom center of the screen remains at 100). You can't adjust the Nav volume until the Nav is talking, otherwise it just adjusts the radio like normal. AhHa, starting to figure this car out. Now for the Lane Departure Warning, still have not figured that one out!
