2011 GTs Bluetooth phonebook issues??

Hello. I just bought a 2011 Mazda 6 Grand Touring S without Nav/but with a 4.3 inch display.

I have the original motorola droid. when I do a phonebook inport, it completes sucessfully. I can see all entries on the display in the dash.

However, when I try to make a call using "Call ....." command, it states no phonebook is loaded.

Has anyone else had this problem, and have you been able to fix it somehow?

since the trim features are different than first gen features, most of us here wouldnt know.
