2010 Wheel Weight

Anyone know the wheel weight on the 2010 wheels yet? Might be a nice change of pace over the RX8 option for Mazda wheels for those with pre2010 speed 3s.

They are a half inch wider and allow you to more safely run wider tires at same total diameter.

There will be guys with 2010 Speed3's looking to go with aftermarket wheels and wanting to let go of their stock ones.

I'm one that might be interested in this as a good "sleeper" mod, if they are not significantly heavier than our stock wheels.

especially if they are lighter. Some also just like the look of them over the older stockers. I wouldn't mind them as a secondary set that I could powder coat, but I won't do it for a weight gain or a huge cost. I would Rather get Ultraleggeras if the weight is too bad.

So in the end, someone needs to throw the stock 2010 wheels on a scale and let us know.

Im with ya there MSMS3...I think they would look nice on our cars and have that sleeper look to..a nice clean simple look

Can't imagine them being any lighter than our stock rims. RX-8 rims are heavy POS too. They seem to be the same as the R3 wheels except they're silver and 18" instead of 19".
