I've got a 2009 Cx-9 GT with factory HID. I do think those HIDs are a bit weak? I am thinking of putting in after market HIDs..do i just need replacement bulbs (are there brighter options that are not phillips/hella level expensive?) or i do need to put in the whole ballast + relay + bulb kit? is replacing the bulbs a straight forward process or are do they require bumper removal etc?
Now for the fun part? How complex is it to put in DRL? I want to keep fogs stock but the silver strip is a perfect place to replace it with some LED strip. Can anyone describe what's involved there?
