2008 Srt 4

Cool vid and not a word about its competition. :) I think we still have the Caliber over braking as if I remember correctly, the Speed3 stops in 116ft from 60-0 and we also have 280 ft/lbs of torque. Not a bad car but I still prefer the Speed3.

According to C&D the caliber did 5.9 0 60 and 14.4 at 103. It hit a .84g on the skidpad. Braking 70-0 was 175ft. Weight 3233 and mileage 18/25.

So taking into account their latest ms3 test (may), the only thing the caliber has on the ms3 is the 103 trap which is pretty impressive I must admit. The ms3 comes out on top everywhere else. Hopefully they'll do a followup test to see if they can get better times.

Personally Dodge should've continued with the neon and not use the caliber.
The thing is truly hideous and I can guarantee that will affect sales.

Those are good times for the first few tries, no doubt the times will getter better as the editors learn how to use the power.

Oh yes brake driven sort of lsd but nothing about limiting hp/tq in 1st...still waiting to see what he says about that....(uhm)

Plant your right foot to the floor and call up all the Dodge Caliber SRT-4's torque, limited to 214 pound-feet in first gear. The carbon-fiber-pattern leather steering-wheel rim lists in your hands left, then right, like you're piloting the SS Minnow. Or a Saab turbo. At least there's no excessive squat, so the nose is steady as you shift to second for 245 pound-feet, and then through third, fourth, fifth, and sixth, where you get all 265 pound-feet.

It is limited in 1st and second

I think the black SRT4 looks AWESOME. I'd go as far to say it looks better than the MS3. Let the hatin' begin!

(puke)Whew, now that I got that out of my system I will try to be objective about this. I REALY want to like the the Caliber but when I see them on the street I cannot get past the ugly looks. It looks WAY to much like an suv at least the MS3 still looks like a car. That and the Brake operated posi traction are really the only things turning me off to the SRT4.

Honestly, looks wise, about half of the srtforums say the same exact thing. I think though, performance for the dollar it will be hard to beat.

The ugly is a statement, it kind of looks cool in its own right. Kind of like "I want to knock your teeth out B-#@!"

You have yet to see an srt caliber in real life...like saying that the neon srt's are ugly just because you think that the se models do. look here - it's in spanish but tell me that when that car is rolling it doesn't look mean????(headbang)

I'd rock it for sure!

the damn car has its own gtech...wow..what a way get false 1/4 mile times..it does look pretty mean from the front but other than that it looks like an ugly a$$ caliber..the fake vents in the hood are pretty wack also..the piston oil squirters are pretty cool. they should be fun to play with on the road.hehehe

The Dodge looks butch handsome. The MS3 looks quirky handsome. The GTI looks suave handsome.

The P5 still looks better than all of them. Shame about that motor though.
