putting a alpine IVA-W505 in my speed 3..


anyone make a (custom) mazda oem/aftermarket to match piano black? or make it look flush as factory?

i have an 08 speed before the refresh. so mine isn't piano black but it a silver. all the dash kits (double din or single) have been the wrong color. Does anyone know of an 08 kit of if mazda sells some sorta of touch up paint for the console. hell now that i think about it any type of paint.

thanks dan7225... 100 bucks for the dash kit is steep...especially when the metra goes for 30 tops. but like you said the closet im gonna get right? as far as the piano black thing goes. i sent an email to these people asking if they make custom decals. I dont know how nice they would look but for 30 bucks who knows.

White 6s: i followed up on the decals. they sound pretty high quality. they sell any color (including glossy black and brushed aluminum) by the sheet. Its only 4 dollars and can be cut and a fixed to any dash kit. Heres the link if your interested: http://www.rvinyl.com/dashkits/mazda/3_2004.htm

I think ill try this before i buy the 100 dollar dash kit.

Anyone used the dash kit that comes for free with a crutchfield stereo? I'm considering either a single or double stack replacement, but want to make sure it looks OK and the temp read out still works on the LCD. Looks like the temp read out works if you follow the instructions on other threads...just curious if anyone used crutchfield to buy their new HU and dash kit.
