we have a lot in common, I've driven mostly stick and that does affect habits. I've found that the hill decent programming in the CX-9 is excellent, IF you know how to use it. I was coming down a long long hill a few years ago, behind a honda Pilot. it was a good few miles; he rode his brakes down the whole way! I had only gently applied the brakes and watched the trans downshift to 4th, and we coasted all the way down behind the idiot in the Pilot (who probably went on to complain about his warped rotors, lol)
