I thought I read somewhere that the New Cobalt SS turbo does 0-60 in 5.7 secs. Is that right?

the cobalt has launch control and no lift shifting. i bet that helps alot.

says "sport tuned suspension". I honestly think the Speed3 rides kind of rough for a stock car! Cannot believe a VOLVO is actually under 25K, must be without any options whatsoever!

ditto on the volvo getting under $25.

hadn't seen a 5.6 time on the ms3 before. i think road&track had it at like 5.9, another magazine i think said 6.1 or something.

The new Cobalt SS does 0-60 in 5.3 and the 1/4 in 13.9@102. It has skidpad numbers that range from .88 to .92.

Where did you get this from?

Even if this is true it's only .1 tenth in the 1/4 & .01g's on the skid pad.

Actually there's been a few members that have ran 13.9 stock anyway. skid pad #'s would improve with wider tires. I don't understand why Mazda insisted on putting 215's on this thing! lol

It just needs a real one. The only recorded times come from novices during open days. Whereas the Chevy ran the SS Turbo wide-open, with a seasoned driver, and no taffic. Everybody is fast when you don't have klaus swerving at you in his Mk2 GTI.
