That procedure looks a lot more involved than just tightening a single bolt. I'm glad I didn't try to do it myself, and accept a little responsibility.

Good stuff Man, you get this s*** quick. Thanks for letting us see the dealer letter, and repair procedure. Now ill sit outside of the bay and make sure they take the whole friggin mount out like in procedure 2.

Good stuff. I was at the dealer today and they wouldn't touch the car for the recall until they had all the info AND I had a letter from Mazda (BS IMO with respect to making the letter a condition...my car is clearly within the vin/build date range). That said, I can understand the former.

Thanks for the informative post...you are in fact the man.

THANKS!
They just trailored my MS3 to the dealer for a coolant leak. I asked them twice about the infamous motor mount issue while on the phone today, and they wouldn't even agree to look at it. Prints of these PDFs should help get the point across

I just scheduled for Sat both my friend and I to have ours MS3's done. My dealer just got in about 3-4 cars worth of parts to do so before the letters make it out I will get in there to have it done first.

The best thing is I dont have to drive 1 1/2 to an official mazdaspeed dealer for the repair!

Mine just needed the bolt apparently but its all better and I have finally shut the DSC off and did a semi hard run and man it was soemthing I havent done and I love it even more today.

Just made an appointment to have mine checked in the morning.

The service department didn't know about it, hm..

Thanks for the info, I've got an appointment for Friday to get the fix done. I talked to a scheduler and not a service tech, so who knows how this will go. Here's hoping my dealership is on top of things.

I thought they were on top of things until the mechanic left one of the tools in my engine bay. -_-++

Got mine done today:

It looks to me like you had the inspection, mount, and bolt done.

That is my opinion on that. From my previous Service experience.....
