I think I just found rotary Pr0n! (wow)

Finally, you found this leathal weapon of a Cosmo. Tracking info on this car is hard. Thank you for the web site link.......(friday)

Did you know this thing can do a 0.59 time at Tsukuba... (bowdown)

How cool is that for a Cosmo to make the top ten for the 2007 show down.

This is my ultimate expression of a Cosmo. How bad would it be to have a 20B-PP engine with an open exhaust tearing up the streets & offending the Greenies.

Yeah...I first saw this car on youtube and became an instant fan...It's definitely one of the coolest rotary-powered Mazdas ever...(first)

I love my boosted 20B but if I could own more than one Cosmo...I'd have a 20B-PP Street & Track MONSTER and ship it to the salt flats or Oz or even the Texas Mile...and run it like a BAT OUT OF HELL!

Imagine the sound of a NA 20B PP dumping straight through an open exhaust at 200mph!!! (laugh)

Yea, I remember this car. Deafening fun. Found these on the site. Would be awesome if it was real CF though.

totally stole my idea!

jk

they run a setup like this for the past o i dunno, years, in motorsport.

rolex Gt rx8s anyone? ALMS had one in the sportsbook lmp2 car by mazda....

nothing new....but still my fav engine nonetheless, i got me some new background wallpaper for the comp

edit, 450ps is not 450hp....not to be mean just sayin, thats more like 400hp. whoich is still nuts tho! the 20b's in rolex are 425 and mazda has an ethanol version making 450hp....all craziness....o and i loved thre youtube vid btw...brap brap brap!!!! haha

Looks like they hadn't completed the process yet...Say...What is the exact technique used for making peripheral ports?

Looks like they hadn't completed the process yet...Say...What is the exact technique used for making peripheral ports?

Having never actually witnessed the process, i'm only speculating, but i know it involves a jig/template to correctly locate the location for the port.

The original ports are welded up, and the new ports are milled out of the correctly located template... i then believe a port sleeve is slotted into place... i've never heard of funny jagged lines :p

I know different rotary hot up shops all have their own port shapes etc - and their own theories on how to do it the best...

PP's are just like running monster overlap cams on a piston engine... which makes them very well suited to high RPM NA screamers, or big boost turbo rotary engines....and its the porting of choice for just about every serious professional race rotary engine ever built...(787B and its mighty 26B rotary included...)

heres a quick google result with a decent explaination... http://www.rotaryengineillustrated.com/porting/peripheral-port-14.html

当日はショップデモカー同乗走行にもエントリーします!
3ローターペリの独特のフィーリングとサウンドを助手席で体感ください!

Roughly translated...I believe this is what the juiciest bit is...

"Experience the sound & feel of 3 rotors in the passenger seat PLEASE!"

Plus...I think it's letting people know that there will be "ride-alongs" in the passenger seat of the shop cars...which means you can ride along in the tuner cars!!!

They had this opportunity last year but it was all booked up so I couldn't grab a spot :(...They had "time attack" and "drifto" ride alongs last year...Like this one:

and I'm spent...
