2006 Miata Rims

I've got the bent rim in the back of my car right now so I can get it inspected this weekend. It still holds air fine. The bend is less than I expected. However, I cant take my stock rims off. Like they are stuck to the hub... Any ideas?

kick them at the top then bottom, then again at top, then bottom. dont be afraid to get tough with them. theyll come off.

We(Myself and the seller) did. I didn't want to get too rough with them since I was only using the emergency jack. When I go home this weekend I'l kick them around since I'll have a real jack. Would liquid wrench be a bad idea?

i wouldnt use liquid wrench just because of the fact that you will get it on your brakes.
honestly just beat the crap out of it.
taking off a members wheels took a good 50 hard kicks per wheel.
a rubber mallet would be a huge help

rubber mallet, and whack the crap out of the inside of the rim, from under the car. it will come off.

I have to "donkey kick" my wheels off every time no matter how often they came off. PITA!

Okay, going to talk to the seller about buying these today. I'm just going to replace the bent rim because it is also cracked. I plan on talking down the price as well. My only question is what lugs do I need to run on these rims? The stock acorn style lugs don't fit.

Here's my P5 on 2006 Miata wheels just in case you might be wondering what it would look like.

Dang super old post but I like those wheels & can get a deal on em.

What size are those tires though? NICE RIDE!!

Wow...this is an old post. I sold my carbon fiber hood a couple of years ago. Lol. Thanks for the kind words. My daughter now drives the car and with close to 200K miles Im just focused on keeping it running good.

I run a 205/50/16 on them. Very close to the stock 195/50/16 but you have a bigger tire choice. My only complaint with them is the 6.5" width. Really wish Mazda would have made them 16x7.

Yes the car is lowered. Im running Tokico Blues with Tein S-Tech springs. Drop is 1.5" in front and 1.8" in rear.

Ride can be a bit rough over stock. Start em young and theyll think its normal. lol

Lets see if this link works. Some more pics of my car but with no effects.
