2006 Mazda 3 touring 2.3l hatchback
Hi, I want to replace my passenger side motor mount, but one of the bolts holding it to the engine is stripped badly. On top of that, the inner bolt piece which has a hex header on it, is also stripped too. Really badly, as in mechanics refuse to touch it.
Now I could just use a dremel and go to town on it, the motor mount itself since I'm replacing it anyways, but I need a replacement bolt as I am assuming that the bolt actually screws into something on the engine block, and then the motor mount hole goes over top of this headless, hex-headed bolt.
I mean just taking the dremel to the nut would probably cut up the bolt itself too much, if that makes sense.
This should be an easy part, but cannot find it online anywhere. Thanks.
