2005 Mazda 3 headlamps

I had a headlamp burn out today I took it out and it is a D2S headlamp that cost $130 can I replace it with an H7 lamp for $20? They are obviously different looking I just want to know if the H7 lamp will work?

No, a H7 lamp will not work. If you have D2S lamps then you have the factory HIDs which use a different technology than standard headlights. Try checking somewhere like www.hidplanet.com for replacement lamps as you'll probably find them much cheaper.

Or if you really just want cheaper headlights to upkeep send me yours and I'll send you mine.
