no, i installed my xtra injector setup... we have an import vs. domestic race at my track this saturday and i will hope to run higher boost by then ~ 15-16 psi or so... if i am lucky... mid 13s

what are you using to manage/control the extra injectors? (sorry i havent been paying a whole lot of attention :D)
 
split second AIC1 . It runs off the same software that dsm convert's afc runs off of. Very simple unit to use, but i will have to address the timing issue very soon. I think i might just go with the mpi tuner to control timing.

So, let me get this straight.

You are running a Piggy Back and WAITING FOR the extra injector set, right.

Your car will be sick bro. It is easily safe for 300 whp.

Do you have ANY head work? If so, you will be able to get close to 325 with tuning on the extra inj. set. That is the set up that I am going to use.

I just love that sound, it is so sick.

a pre- feb 02 tranny wont do anything to stop what lies over the 300 mark. they all go to hell over 300hp as focus continues to prove to us... and since that is just where he is gonna be when this is tuned, i think he should start thinking about it a little.

stock msp ecu flashed, with a very high flow denso fuel pump. And now, the extra injectors are in, so fuel is taken care of, but now i have to worry abou ttiming. If i can go for 300 whp i will stop there. that is way more then enough power for this car.

dont worry about your tranny @ 300whp. As long as you shift like you do in the videos and continue to use street tires, it will be fine. If you really need a tranny build up, let me know.
 
Looks good.Glad to see it running.
From what we have dyno'd, the Thumper kit tuned at 11psi makes roughly 250-260whp.The kit makes 16.4whp per lbs of boost from 15psi and up.Below that it's just not in it's efficiency range on the FS.Right now we have a guy in CA that made 410whp at 21-22psi using our built motor,Haltech E6X,550cc injectors and the Thumper kit.
In the coming weeks we are going to try and use a GT35R for the Thumper kit.It will be an upgrade to the kit if we can make it fit..We have almost a dozen guys right now that are doing 350whp+ builds right now.They are running our Sleeper kit with the large GT2871 ball bearing turbo or the Thumper kit kit with the GT3037.

update:

just talked with a mutual friend, and i guess right after the races, the guy with the srt-4 went to a dyno shop in ohio to get a map clamp installed and tuned. (essentially this tricks the ecu into seeing less boost so the fuel maps dont get to rich. i guess there have been numbers as great as +20whp with these on the srt's). Anyways, with just the stage 1, map clamp, andmbc set to 20 psi falling to 16, he put down 270 whp and 300 wtq. I am wondering how much power my car was really making when we raced....

this kinda has me wondering if that 250 whp @ 11 psi that beau quoted was just about right...
