2004 radio/information display question

Hey guys and gals, my readout is starting to have the disapearing act and I am looking to replace it with a new one. There is a guy on ebay selling them for the 2006-2008 years for a real nice price. I see one button is different (no dimmer) but don't you think the plugs will be the same as the 2004?

Well that did not work, the plugs are different and I can't find a post on how to change the plugs so now item is FS.
