2003.5's are US$21,000

I'll Bet...

The $500 higher MSRP is to help incent the public to buy up the 2003s from the lots before the '03.5s start showing up. My local dealer still has 3 MSPs sitting on the lot and they have not yet taken delivery of all 12 MSPs they were supposed to get. Jim

Yep this ones just not selling all that well. A dealer here has had several for over a month with no inquiries. Although what do they expect for a total lack of local advertising.

I think the weather has something to do with it. The east coast has gotten a lot more snow this year than the last few years combined! It's got to be tough to sell low-profile-tired stiff-suspended sport compacts in weather like we've been having. Hell, it's probably hard enough to sell non-speciality cars.

The reports from California seem to indicate brisk sales and high mark-ups if you can find the cars in stock.

Absolutely, It was a horrible Idea to have a winter release for the MSP should have been held till srping.

That of coarse is based on the release date they originaly gave. If they had met the fall relase or have from the begining anounced a spring release then they would have been better off but anouncing a Fall release, not getting them out till mid winter, especialy the winder the east and Canada has had made a lot of peopl go WRX.

yea i am very interest in the silver needle gauges as well... but from all the old pics post by members about the 2003.5... i cant seem to see the silver center gauge needles.. anyone got a pic of them? heh prob gonna replace that one with my 2003's, i hate red needles :(

Had they been delivered on time, I would be the owner of a 2003 spicy orange MSP, and I would be sick of the color by now (probably :).)

I also read that the needles on the 2003.5 MSP would be silver. But ALL the pictures that I have of the 2003.5 interior has orange needles. WTF? Was this a last minute change?

Well, the needle centers are silver, not the needles themselves. If the needles were silver they'd be a little difficult to read.

ah its the needles center.. i get it...... -_-;; that's useless... though its lil bit nicer... wish we have needles as nice as my friend's S4's :)

how much is an S4...how much is an MSP?

hehe...don't mean to rag on ya...just the price diffrence is huge.

It's like saying, I paid 20thousand for this car, and I expect it to drive like a 100 thousand dollar car. Not gonna happen :)

But...I'm sure if they're just needles...the aftermarket might have some that you'll like (if you can get aftermarket needles)
