2003.5 Ti MSP
Hey guys, I'm selling my 2003.5 Ti Silver MSP - here's what I have on craigslist right now (its a little more noob friendly as i assume the average person isnt as MSP educated as all of you are)

I'm selling my 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege in Titanium Silver with 39k miles. First of all, this is the best color for the Mazdaspeed Protege, and the paint is in great shape, still shines like new with a fresh waxing. The car is in great shape with none of the typical door dings or large scratches you see on these cars. The interior is in great shape as well with no rips or tears in the seats. The A/C blows cold and the transmission shifts smoothly. The clutch is good as well. I just had the car in to the Mazdaspeed dealership due to a boost problem and the entire wastegate assembly was replaced with a brand new one - the car now runs like a CHAMP and the aftermarket boost guage on the A-pillar confirms a stock level 5-6 psi of boost. No problems with the engine. The car has never been beat on or launched and the tires are less than 6 months old with excellent tread. This MSP has an aftermarket catless midpipe installed to increase exhaust flow as well as a different muffler. I also have the stock catted midpipe if you prefer it. There is also a Forge blow off valve on the car that sounds great and causes no idle problems. Has a JL 8" sub placed in the stock suspended box so it doesn't take up space but sounds great! Other than these minor upgrades, the car is stock. Very fun to drive, reliable car - great on gas, I've been averaging an honest 26-27 mpg my last few fill ups. Any questions, feel free to ask

The wastegate repair was nearly 700 bucks so that should be perfect for the life of the car, there are no idle issues, boost issues, hesitation issues, LSD issues, clunk issues etc that are so common to this car. The paint looks great and its in much better shape than all of the local MSP's i see around my town (a spicy, a blazing yellow and a turbo'd mp3). Looking to get 11,500 for it but shoot me a reasonable offer and I'll see what I can do

I'm selling my 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege in Titanium Silver with 39k miles. First of all, this is the best color for the Mazdaspeed Protege - it looks NICE, not RICE like the neon orange or cheesy blue you see the car in.

I was interested in this, until you made that statement

not a great opening line buddy (notcool)

The wastegate repair was nearly 700 bucks

AHAHAHAHAAH my bad guys, to be honest with you, i almost bought a spicy over mine, i actually like the color, but i found a better deal on mine. this was the craigslist ad i had posted and I was trying to appeal to a broader audience. . . hahahaah dont hate!

haha, its cool

but how did you get suckered into paying 700 bucks for a wastegate repair? its literally an hour job if you know what your doing....and the wastegate is like 65 bucks from ATP Turbo if I recall =(

ahhh i have no idea, i took it to the only mazdaspeed dealership around (like an hour away) and they told us it was gonna be like 650ish to fix. my dad and i knew that was a rip and he was about to just do it himself but we were going out of town soon and didnt have the time or means to do it efficiently.... i hate the mazda stealership, but my loss is your gain, at least you know its been installed right. . .
